Our story begins on Level 2 of Birdees night club in the early hours of 5th March 2018. To say we hit it off instantly would be an understatement. Less than 24 hours later we were on our first date at Julius South Bank, chatting into the night and the following morning.

On paper we couldn’t have been more different. From a gaming boy through and through, who has a passionate distaste for camping and would choose to be inside on any given day (unless golf was involved, of course). To a girl who loves camping and being amongst the wilderness, and never mustered much competitiveness or luck from a game of any sort. Differences aside, we quickly discovered and bonded over our shared love of animals, food, music, concerts, musical theatre and travel, and it’s been this mutual embrace of our uniqueness at the heart of our relationship since day dot.

We’ve shared many memories and adventures together, from scavenging for low battery Lime scooters across every corner of Brisbane, to travelling to the far slung cities and slopes of Japan, and exploring the wilds of our own backyard here in Australia. But by far our biggest adventure together was welcoming our darling girl Millie into our relationship, and most recently our latest addition, Maisie. They are the lights of our lives and bring so much love and joy to our family.

We cannot wait for what the future holds for us and are looking forward to celebrating our big day with our nearest and dearest.
